    Typeset at the Office of the 'Royal Gazette', Georgetown 1850/51: Cottonreel 12 c. black on blue, Type C, a used cut square example with enormous margins all round for this issue, initialled "WHL" (Lortimer), cancelled by near complete "Demerara" double arc datestamp (Nov 1, 1850) in black. Illustrated on colour plate B in Townsend & Howe, page 32. A magnificent and iconic stamp for the connoisseur. Signed A. Diena. Certs.
