    Austrian P.O.'s in Bulgaria 1884 (May 14): Registered envelope from Plovdiv to Sarajevo, bearing 1883 20 s. grey & black perf. 9½, a fine and fresh example, tied by perfect FILIPPOPEL (Tchilinghirian fig. 869) cds, registration handstamp alongside, reverse with CONSTANTINOPEL transit as well as two Bosnian military arrival (May 30) cds's. An interesting cover, sent prior to the unification of Bulgaria and Eastern Roumelia, in addition the 20 soldi of the 1883 issue is a rare franking, ex collection Keith Tranmer.
