1854/59: Diadem 6 d. deep bluish grey, a used example with large margins all round, used on 1857 entire letter from Sydney to Bordeaux endorsed "per first steamer Simla via Marseille" (European & Australian Mail Co.) tied by dotted mute obliterator in black. Reverse with SYDNEY / NEW SOUTH WALES cds (Feb 10) in black and obverse with circular "AUSTRALIE V. SUEZ / MARSEILLE" cds in red (April 3).
