    1879 (Aug) Effigie di Umberto I Definitives; 1889 (Sept 21): Registered envelope from Saronno to Pavia, bearing 1879 Umberto 5 c. green, 10 c. carmine and 50 c. bright violet, each tied by clear SARONNO despatch cds with matching registration label alongside. Reverse with ambulant, NAPOLI transit and PAVIA arrival (Sept 24) cds's. Attractive three-colour cover, correctly franked with twice 20 c. postage and 25 c. registration fee which was lowered from 30 c. on August 1st, 1889. Signed Raybaudi.
