    1854: Triple rate Lettersheet from Paris to Amiens bearing Napoléon imperf. 80 c. carmine, a fine and fresh example with large even margins, tied by clear 'Cercle de points' mute obliterator, despatch cds (Dec 28, 1859) alongside, reverse with ambulant and arrival cds's from the next day. Light filing folds well away from stamp and postmarks, nevertheless an attractive usage to pay the rate for a cover between 15 and 100 gram. Maury 17A = € 550+.
