    PSNC 1872 (Nov 30): Cover from Talcahuano to New Bedford, USA franked by 1867 5 c. red, small closed tear, and horizontal pair of 10 c. blue tied by "Cancelled" obliterators in black, with Talcahuano despatch cds (Dec 9) in red alongside. Thence by PSNC Steamer to Panama with three line dated "PANAMA / TRANSIT" in black (Dec 30) and Panama Exchange marking "12" in black. US Steamer to New York with circular "New York / 24" datestamp (Jan 28, 1873) in black. Illustrated in Edition D'Or 59 on page 192. A most attractive and scarce cover.
