    Crimean War 1855 (Jan 27): Green Postal Receipt for a Registered Letter 'Received of the Postmaster of 'Scutari' / a Registered Letter directed to 'Miss Nightingale, The Hospital Scutari' and signed by "Florence Nightingale" below with London datestamp dated Jan 27, 1855 at base. Repaired at upper left but it appears by the hand-writing that Miss Nightingale was also acting as Postmistress for the Hospital.
