    1860: 2 c. deep orange, perf. 12 in a vertical pair and 1862 4 c. pale blue in a horizontal pair, used on 1862 cover from Venenoegen, West Coast, to the Parish of St. Philip, Barbados, tied by "BG / W3C" datestamps (April 24) in black (Proud D2) with repeated superb strike on the reverse alongside "Georgetown / B. Guiana" cds (April 24). Barbados double arc cds of transit (May 10) on obverse and St. Philip arrival (May 12) alongside and '4' (pence) British credit for maritime carriage.
