    Lloyd mail from Constantinople 1872 (Apr 5): Fully paid Entire letter from Constantinople to Trieste, franked with 1867 coarse whiskers 2 s. yellow, two pairs and a single adhesive as well as a single 5 s. red, all tied by LETTERE ARRIVATE COL VAPORE DEL LEVANTE handstamp in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 99). Sender's company cachet in red and oval "TRIEST 12 / 4 72" arrival datestamp alongside. 5 soldi stamp with filing fold at base, nevertheless a very rare franking to pay the 15 soldi Lloyd rate from the Levant to Trieste, while no postage had to be paid within the city.
