    Austrian occupation of Moldavia and Walachia during the Crimean War 1856 (April 26): Entire letter from the Fieldpost office in Craiova, Romania to Vienna bearing 1850/54 3 kr. red in a horizontal pair and 9 kr. blue, vivid colours and good to large margins all round, tied by fine strikes of Fieldpost "K.K. ÖST. F.P. KRAIOVA 26 / 4" (Tchilinghirian fig. 735) cds's. Reverse with Quarantine "gereinigt b. k.k. Rastelamte ALT-ORSOVA 27 / .. 1856" cachet in black, Temesvar transit and Vienna arrival cds's in black. The cover lightly rastel punched without affecting the fine adhesives. A marvellous and very attractive outgoing civil cover, illustrated in Edition d'Or volume XI on page 158 and 'Die Österreichische Post in der Levante' on page 152. Cert.
