    1868: Lecoq 1 d. green, a superb strip of three on 1876 cover from Puno to Salomonsmühle, Germany endorsed 'via Panama & Southampton' tied by mute quartered handstamps (with dots in the four segments) in black (unlisted by Lamy & Rinck and Emsing) with confirming PUNO / PRAL cds alongside (April 12). Reverse with 'Lima / Principal' cds (April 25) and Langmeil arrival (June 1) in black. An exceptional pre-UPU cover confirming the special Peru-Germany tariffs introduced on January 9, 1875 - just three covers are recorded thus.
