    1864: 1 s. green, wmk. NZ, imperforate with touched to narrow margins, of fresh colour, used on 1867 cover from Napier via Panama to 'Mohawk Post Office, Brant County, Canada West', tied by numeral "11" obliterator with Napier cds at left (April 1) of despatch. Manuscript '4' in ink on front credit and reverse with ST. THOMAS transit cds (May) and Quebec cds (June 15) in black. Blue crayon '20c.' at left. The stamp lifted and re-affixed slightly out of place. A scarce and appealing cover to a very rare destination. Cert. RPSL (2000).
