    1862: 1 peso dull purple, on white wove paper, the superb used horizontal pair, the left hand stamp being the example used by Jean de Sperati for his famous Forgery (note the white slash just above the value tablet over PESO, replicated in the Sperati forgery). The pair neatly cancelled at "Santander" in manuscript.
