    1866: Dom Pedro 100 r. green, single and horizontal pair used on 1873 entire letter from Maranhao to New York endorsed 'por D.H.Bisbee' tied by dotted lozenge in black with oval 'Administracão Do Correio Geral / Do Maranhao' cachet alongside (April 23) in green. Fine circular 'New York / Paid All' in red at right (May 20) and reverse with Para transit (May 6) in blue on reverse. Minor creases but a scarce and attractive cover.
