    1877 (June): 1 s. yellow-green, imperforate, used on 1878 combination cover at double rate from Pretoria to Axminster, UK endorsed 'via Diamond Fields' at top, cancelled by circular "1" numeral of Pretoria in black with faint cds at left; Cape of Good Hope 1876 4 d. blue single and pair (Gi. 30) all tied by barred "1" numeral in transit with 'Cape Town / Cape Colony' cds at left (May 3). Reverse with Taunton cds (May 29) and Axminster arrival cds. Some cover imperfections but a scarce rate and attractive usage, unrecorded in the Jorgensen census.
