    'Mafeking Besieged' on Stamps of the Bechuanaland Protectorate 1900 (March 30): Surcharged 6 d. on 3 d. purple on yellow, an unused example of good colour, one or two perfs. at top with tone spots more apparent on reverse and not mentioned on certificate, large part og. A very rare stamp (it is interesting to note that neither Maria de La Queillerie nor Maxwell Joseph possessed an unused example) with just 1'440 issued. Cert.
