    1853: 4 d. deep blue on slightly blued paper, four single examples with good to large margins all round, used on large part cover to Grahamstown, address re-written, all cancelled by CGH obliterators in black. Reverse with impressed wax seal of Blaine & Co. in Algoa Bay, Port Elizabeth. The cover has been trimmed at left and reasealed,the adhesives lifted and replaced. Despite faults, a most attractive and scarce usage of some charm. Cert. BPA (2019).
