    Incoming 1916 (Nov 6): Picture postcard from Russia via Japan to Taiwan depicting the French general Louis Ernest de Maud’huy from Moscow to Taihoka prefecture on Formosa, franked with Russian Imperial definitives 1 kop. orange and 3 kop. red, tied by Moscow city PO no. 17 with another strike of the 1st Expeditiya (Nov 21), Moscow censorship handstamp and "TSURUGA JAPAN 18. 12. 16" transit cds in violet alongside. An interesting card written in Esperanto to Taiwan which became a Japanese colony in 1895.
