    Woodblock Issue 1854/55: 'Registered' 1 s. rose-pink & blue and July 1854 1 s. blue in a horizontal pair, used on registered 1857 double rate cover from Maldon to Locarno, Switzerland tied by circular "60" numeral obliterators in black. Reverse with 'Maldon / Victoria' datestamp (Feb 19) and Melbourne transit in black (Feb 21). London 'Crown / Registered' in red and oval 'REGISTERED / G.P.O.' datestamp (May 9) in red with 'd6' split rate accountancy marking in black. Thence via Calais and Basel to Locarno with datestamps on reverse. Some creasing affecting the adhesives but very rare, unrecorded by Ben Palmer in 'Pre-UPU Destination Mail'.
