    1891 (Apr-Aug): ½ d. orange, wmk. TAS, a spectacular unused block of twelve (6 x 2) from the base of the sheet, entirely imperforate and each overprinted SPECIMEN in black (Type 2), showing 62 mm. gap between stamps and the base of the sheet with diagonal TAS watermark showing through and complete TASMANIA watermark at base. Without gum and minor creasing but most attractive and rare.
