    Mail carried on French Paquebots 1868: Complete Newspaper mailed to Paris, carried on the Paquebot 'Godavery', franked at 1866 Convention rate of 14 lepta (for newspapers up to a weight of 40 grams) with 1862/67 2 l. yellowish brown on cream (2) and pair of 5 l. green on bluish, margins good to touched, tied to wrapper band by dotted '1' lozenge of Athens with despatch cds adjacent (Sept 12) in black. One 2 l. is also tied by 'Grece / Amb. Marseille' entry marking in red (Sept 29). Illustrated in 'Les Tarifs Helléniques' on page 103. A rare and most attractive usage.
