    1886: 5 c. blue postal stationery envelope (H&G B1), used to Hamburg, Germany and up-rated with 1889 5 c. orange and 20 c. yellow-green tied by SAN JOSE datestamps (Aug 15, 1890) in black. Reverse with minor previous mount faults but with New York transit (Aug 25) and Hamburg arrival cds. A very rare 'three colour' franking.
