    1865: India ½ a. blue postal stationery letter-sheet mailed to Calcutta cancelled by fine strike of the newly introduced Bengal Circle NEPAUL / fleurons /137 duplex cancellation in black (June 12). Reverse with Calcutta arrival in red. The letter is signed by Lt. Col. Lawrence, the British resident in Nepal. Internal trim to top of letter-sheet not affecting the appearance, a fine and rare usage with just two ½ anna letter-sheets recorded from Nepal.
