    1810/64.: The pre-stamp selection of covers / 'tobacco' fronts of covers (15) with italic "San José" handstamps in red (2) and in black, fronts with framed "Nicoya" handstamps in black (21), front and cover with framed "GUANACASTE" handstamps in black; front to Guatemala with framed "Franqueado / en Cartago" in brown; rare framed "BAGASES" on "Real de Servicio" front, three fronts to Leon or Guatemala with oval framed "VillaNEUVA" handstamps in black (3) and 1864 Official cover to Leon with oval "LIBERIA" handstamp in black etc. A scarce and generally fine group. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
