    1919/21: De La Rue Die Proof for the 3 s. value, 'RSir Charles Metcalfe', the completed design printed in red-brown & black (unissued thus) on thin wove toned paper (38 x 44 mm.). Noted as a register only Proof and a similar example is illustrated in "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 4330.
