    Austrian Lloyd Agency 1842 (June 6): Entire letter from the Dardanelles to Trieste, chisel slit for disinfection at Trieste on arrival, struck with oval framed "AGENZIA DEL LLOYD AUSTRIACO / Dardanelli" handstamp in black (Tranmer fig. 2). Cover part prepaid (note 14 kr. annotation on reverse), and further charge raised of 1+36 (kreuzer) to pay on arrival 1 kr. for disinfection fee and 36 kr. for ship rate. Triest arrival in red on reverse (June 19).
