    1882: Soldier's and Seamen's 9 p. vermilion postal stationery envelope, a fine used example cancelled by PESHAWAR / L duplex in black (Aug 15). Correctly counter-signed by Commanding Officer and writer (Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment) and backstamped at Bombay, 'Plymouth / Ship Letter' cds (Sept 20) and Guildford arrival cds.rnrn
