1859 (June 19): Entire letter from Fernando Po to Santa Cruz de Teneriffe, Canary Islands, with manuscript 'Pd. 4' (pence) at left, struck with very fine "♚ / PAID / AT / FERNANDO-PO" with despatch cds adjacent of 'Fernando-Po' in black (June 29). Slitted for disinfection with 'Santa Cruz' arrival cds on reverse and charged with circular "2.R" (reales) for local delivery.
