    1872: 1 r. yellow on quadrille paper, a used vertical strip of seven with good margins all round for such a multiple, fifth stamp just clipped but seventh stamp with circular 'Embossed Arms of Ecuador' (unlisted by Scott on this stamp), each stamp individually cancelled by AMBATO datestamp in black (June 20). Top two stamps thinned not affecting the frontal appearance of a rare multiple Scott = $ 375+.
