    1872: 1 real yellow, a horizontal pair on quadrille paper, over-inked in a bright shade, margins touched to large at base with portion of adjoining stamp, used on 1872 entire letter from Guayaquil to Lima tied by FRANCA lozenge in black; in combination with France laureated 1867 30 c. brown pair (Yvert 30) tied by 'Anchor' lozenge of dots in black; with framed red "P.P." adjacent in red. Carried on the first Southbound voyage of the "Ville de Brest" with reverse showing circular "LIGNE F / PAQ. FR. No. 2" datestamp (May 7) in black (Salles fig. 1581) with Lima arrival cds (May 10) alongside.
