    British India Post Office 1866/78: India 4 a. blue-green, Die I, used with 1865 ½ a. deep brown, used on 1879 cover endorsed 'via Brindisi' to St. David's, Wales tied by very fine strike of "BRITISH / P.O. / ZANZIBAR / B" in square bars duplex (Type Z2) in black (Oct 21). Reverse with ADEN transit cds (Dec 25) and St. Davids arrival cds (Jan 13, 1880). Some aging around perfs. but a scarce cover.rnProvenance: Harmers, London, 6 May 2004, lot 1329.
