    1872/77: Cérès 10 c. brown on rose and 25 c. blue, just shaved to large margins, used on 1879 entire letter endorsed "Via Bombay & Aden" to Port Louis, Mauritius tied by "INDE / PONDICHERY" circular datestamps (Oct 16) in black. Carried on the P&O steamer "Lombardy" to Aden and thence on the French "Dupleix" to Mauriitius with arrival cds (Nov 13) in blue on reverse. An attractive entire.
