    Postal Stationery 1911: Fullface 1 d. blue on grenish-grey postal stationery letter-card, illustration on reverse of "Botanic Gardens, Brisbane, Q." (BW illustration #14), up-rated with Western Australia 1905/12 ½ d. green and 1 d. rose-pink tied by "Freemantle" cds's in black (Sept 28, 1911), with Amsterdam arrivals on reverse. A charming and scarce usage in superb quality with content stating "I had some trouble getting stamps, our old Australian stamps are getting used up and you can get nothing over four pence at the P.O....". BW LC8.
