    September letter: Entire letter from La Chapelle en Thiérache to Bertry, bearing a combination franking of Napoléon laureated 1 c. green olive, 2 c. red brown type II (2) and Siège 20 c. blue, tied by fair Petits Chiffres des Gros Chiffres '724' lozenge, matching despatch cds (Sept 7, 1871) in black alongside. Reverse with arrival cds of the following day. An appealing cover with this combination franking to pay the new 25 c. rate. Signed Brun.
