    Issued at Old Calabar 1893 (Dec): 'HALF / PENNY' in green on Great Britain 2½ d. purple on blue, a fine used block of four with Gibbons Type 4 handstamped surcharge in green, cancelled by "Old Calabar" cds's in black. Just 120 stamps issued. An exceptional multiple: Robson Lowe: "Blocks are very rare". Cert BPA (2021) Gi = £ 1'100+.
