    1840: 2d. blue, plate 1, lettered PB, a used example with very good even margins and of very fresh appearance on letter from Wellington-Somerset to Tiverton. The stamp is tied by a red MC. The Wellington-Somerset despatch mark is missing the date slug and has the year date 1840 inverted, the letter itself is dated 10. November 1840.
