    1864: Escuditos 6 c. rose and 12 c. pale blue (2), all with large margins all round, one 12 c. with contemporary closed tear, all tied to 1865 cover to Buenos Aires by oval "Admon de Correos / Montevideo" datestamps (Sept 18) in black. Despite the imperfection a not unattractive and scarce franking.
