    1870/71: Bordeaux 20 c. blue type III (report II), a fine and fresh example with good to large margins all round, tied by light Paris Star '8' to folded letter, sent to Bessières with "PARIS R. DES Vlles HAUDRtes 30 JUIN 71" cds alongside, reverse with arrival cds (July 1st). A rare Bordeaux usage from Paris, cert. Roumet (2014) Maury 46/II = € 550/Yvert = € 550.
