    Salonique 1867: Cover from Salonique to Milan, Italy franked by 1862 20 c. blue and 40 c. orange tied by '5095' gros chiffres with scarce ITALIE / SALONIQUE datestamp (March 6) alongside in black (Salles fig. 922). Framed 'PD' adjacent and reverse with Genova and Milano cds (March 13). An untidy cover but scarce: the earliest recorded usage of the ITALIE / SALONIQUE datestamp (8 months earlier than Salles).
