    1878: 6 ct. lilac, horizontal pair, used on cover, from SHANGHAI to MADRID, tied by the 'S1' barrel cancel in black, Shanghai datestamp alongside (8 June 1878) also in black, endorsed 'via Brindisi', with red transit datestamp below (26 June 1878), HONG KONG datestamp in black (12 June 1878) and Madrid arrival (28 June 1878) to the reverse, some slight damage to front not really noticable, a very rare cover from CHINA sent via Hong Kong into Spain.
