    1850, 1 d. red, plate 93, lettered LD-MD, vertical pair, Archer Perf. 16, used on cover, from Aberdeen, Scotland, to Banff, dated 9 November 1853, before the official use, arrival to reverse 10 November 1853, the Archer perforations matching the Wilkinson Punch Set, Side 2, small tear lower right of envelope, very scarce multiple and one of less than twenty recorded Archer covers originating from Scotland.
