    1868: 1 s. deep yellow-green, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 12½, surcharge Thick Bar (B), an unused block of four, lower horizontal pair from the tenth horizontal row with variety "ONE SHILLING Surcharge Omitted", superbly fresh and fine appearance, hinged for protection on most part og. Illustrated in Edward Hibbert "St. Helena" on page 46. Only twelve pairs can exist, two are housed in the collection of His Majesty King Charles III.
