    Francobolli frazionati 1852 (Jan): 4 baj. 'bruno grigio chiaro', the lower right half of a diagonnally bisected adhesive with good to huge margins, tied by straigt-line CENTO handstamp with corresponding "CENTO 12 GIU 1854" cds, both in blue (Sassone FE = 4 punti) and BOLOGNA transit cds alongside, on obverse of entire letter directed to Modena. Reverse with arrival cds in blue of the following day. Correctly franked with 2 baj. in the special rate for a letter between the Emilia and the Ducato di Modena, a rare usage of a bisected stamp on the front of the cover. Cert Colla (2001) Sassone = € 11'250.
