    1860: 3 d. rose Stamped to Order postal stationery Newspaper wrapper, a used example from London to Pondicherry, India endorsed "via Marseille", cancelled by London '37' numeral obliterator with Madras transit cds (Sept 6) on reverse. Correctly paying the rate for a 4 ounce Newspaper by British Packet via Marseille, carried on the P&O "Vectis" to Alexandria and the "Colombo" from Suez to Galle. Rare, especially to this destination.
