    New Guinea: Registered Cover from Rabaul to Sydney bearing a rare combination franking of German Marshall Islands overprinted 1914 1 d. on 5 pf. green, GRI and Value  5 mm apart, a lower sheet marginal pair, right stamp showing variety '1' and 'd.' spaced, 'G.R.I. 3 d. - Rabaul (Deusch Neuguinea)' registration label and NWPI Kangaroo ovpt. 2½ d. indigo in a hor. pair, all tied by oval  "RABAUL MAR 22 1915 NEW BRITAIN" datestamps in violet, reverse with three wax seals showing impression of German "KAISERL. DEUTSCHE POSTAGENTUR / STEPHANSORT" and indistinct Sydney arrival cds. An impressive combination cover.
