Batallion of the Rifle Brigade stationed at Fort William, Calcutta; with Pondicherry cds (May 5) on reverse and half-round "PONDICHERRY / DUE / ONE ANNA" charge mark with circular "T" alongide. Charged 2d. with Foreign Branch handstamp to pay upon arrival.
