    1856/58: Latest Impression 2 d. grey-blue on bluish, position 4 on the sheet of 12 subjects, shaved at base with small indentation below 'T' of 'TWO' and at right but with enormous margins on two sides, used on 24 July 1856 entire letter from Port Louis to Bordeaux endorsed "Par Eglé via Ceylan", cancelled by target handstamp in black. Oval framed "PACKET LETTER / MAURITIUS" in red below (Aug 8) with circular "INDES OR / AMB. MARSEILLE" entry marking in red (Oct 1) and taxed at single rate with '10' décimes charge mark in black.
