Therefore to find a faultless example of this stamp listed is a great rarity.  The George Ginger sale (Robson Lowe, Dec 1945) had two unused examples: lot 37 (faded) and lot 38 (thinned), this last was sold in the "Manwood" sale, Siegel, Nov 1995, lot 4009; otherwise our search has not been forthcoming for an example in such fiine condition as that offered above.
