    1914: Turkey 10 pa. green in a top marginal vertical strip of four, tied to reverse of 1916 cover by Sahra Postasi (Field Post Office) datestamps (Sept. 18), the FPO number being unclear; addressed the 15th Army Corps of the 19th Division and further cancelled by bilingual "ADJILOUN" circular datestamps in black (Sept 25). Obverse with Turkey 1915 10 pa. green optd. Star & Crescent in red on tied solely by the "Adjiloun" transit cds (Coles & Walker fig. 1). Reverse with superb impression of the MAAN negative seal Censor handstamp in black and Damas cds in black of receipt (Sept 27). Central file fold but a stunning and very rare, probably unique, cover.
