Insgesamt enthält die Sammlung viele hochwertige Stücke von zum Teil bedeutendem historischem Interesse.rnrn1933/1939: Collection of Pioneer Catapult Airmail to and from South America containing approximately 325 letters and postcards from the very beginning including two trial flights from June 1933. One trial flight letter is franked with German stamps, the other is franked with Gambia stamps. Further highlights include "first flights" in both directions and a number of first acceptances. Many letters have very high frankings and are of an entirely commercial nature, including two meter frankings. There are rare foreign acceptances from Great Britain, Austria, Italy,Palestine, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain and Czechoslovakia. This is an execptional collection of this popular area. The condition is somewhat mixed, in places tropicalised and requires inspection. There are many good quality items of significant historical interest.
